In the tradition of the Agile Software Development Manifesto, the Manifesto for Data Practices lays out 4 values and 12 principles to illustrate the most effective, ethical, and modern approach to data teamwork.

Developed and signed by a diverse group of data leaders and professionals working in government, business, academia, journalism, and NGOs, the Manifesto provides a new model that can be followed by any organization to maximize data’s internal value and societal impact.
